DECI offers many options for Technical Assistance that address needs in the implementation of the Devereux Early Childhood Program.
Refresher Training Session for In-service or Pre-service
This 3-4 hour refresher session will focus on the specific needs of your staff in implementing the DECA Program. Programs often will schedule this session as a morning and afternoon repeated session for the staff each time. Our spring and fall training months fill up quickly. Please book early, or consider scheduling your session for another time of year.
Phone or Video Technical Assistance
Our 1-2 hour Technical Assistance Telephone or Video Conference Call(s) are personalized for your program around a list of unresolved questions and issues that staff may pose regarding implementing the DECA Program. The audience is selected by program staff. These may include: administrators, supervisors, consultants, teaching staff, or a combination of each. We recommend a minimum of 2 calls per program/ per year.
Onsite Technical Assistance & Troubleshooting
Please plan for a minimum of 2 hours for every classroom to be visited. After onsite technical assistance is delivered, a detailed report will be written up and sent to the program coordinator with DECA Program strengths and goals for each classroom. We recommend a minimum of 1 Devereux visit per classroom/ per year.
Local Program Mentor Technical Assistance and Troubleshooting
Our Devereux Certified Trainers are available to offer additional support to your Local Program Mentor(s) on DECA Program implementation as well as how to best offer technical assistance to those who are using the DECA Program at your site. Various options are available.
Program Evaluation
The Children, Inc. Devereux Regional Early Childhood Center has the capacity to develop comprehensive program evaluations of your DECA program. We can provide technical assistance with e-DECA, we can analyze your DECA database and provide evaluation reports. |
